So as you can probably guess, school is definitely off and running...seeing as how I haven't been on to update recently! We had to take an OSHA test, about standard safety precautions, restraints, etc...but you had to make a 100 on it before you could perform the skills to the teacher and master that section. The first time we took it, no one made a 100...some did the second time, and then all of us did the 3rd time! So, after the written test...i waited 3 hours and finally completed my lab test, and did great! Which was helpful, because I had a breakdown the day before.
We were doing blood pressure and finding all the pulse points, etc and I was just getting really discouraged and frustrated because most people already knew about them, how to read the blood pressure dial, etc and I didn't! I am going to buy a BP cuff today to practice with because we have the skills test on Tuesday!
